Confessions of a Summer Intern: Allison Lindsey’s Journey

Allison Lindsey, an Integrated Science & Business major at UW-Whitewater, interned this summer with Mercy Health Systems in Janesville. After graduating in May 2011, Allison hopes to pursue a career in the health care industry, just not providing the direct care. Her Integrated Science & Business background along with her internship will be assets as she pursues that goal.

Allison worked with me for some guidance in her internship search. Just so happened that I was aware of a potential opportunity with Mercy Health Systems, where Allison also happened to work. With a little pre-interview coaching, Allison rocked her interview and had a fun, rewarding, and educational summer experience.
